A MEMORABLE MOMENT
In June, we held our Chapter Retreat at Palmas del Mar, Humacao, with fantastic attendance.
We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this Chapter Retreat a memorable and enriching experience. The two-day event offered a well-balanced program of diverse learning opportunities, celebrations, and MyEO activities.
The Chapter Retreat featured three keynote speakers:

Steve McClatchy – Personal Leadership
Corey Perlman – Authentically Social
We also enjoyed an insightful Economic Perspective panel presented by our Strategic Alliance Partner, FirstBank. This panel provided valuable local information on business and economic development, with contributions from executives at FirstBank. We’ll be sharing more updates on this topic and will provide a space for questions soon.
The Chapter Retreat also catered to various member interests through our MyEO groups, including MyEO Health & Wellness with a yoga class and MyEO Outdoors with two activities: hiking and a boat trip to Vieques.
This event was a perfect conclusion to a year themed Embracing Unity, where we celebrated our achievements and each other. It also set the stage for the upcoming year.
We are proud to announce thatPEDRO NIEVES and LULU PURAS, esteemed members of our chapter, were chosen to participate in the Entrepreneurial Masters’ Program (EMP). This program offers an exclusive executive education opportunity, leading a carefully selected and diverse cohort of EO members through a transformative three-year journey.
PEDRO NIEVESgraduated in May, completing the three-year program. “EMP is a unique vehicle to lifelong connections with peers from around the world who want to take their business and lives to the ultimate level. I can’t thank EO enough for the opportunity to directly learn from, and with world-renowned subject matter experts in 5 core areas. Fun fact, on average, one student per class goes on to grow his/her company to unicorn status.”
